Now Accepting New Clients!

1. If you feel your child may need behavioral support, talk with your doctor about a referral for a neuropsychological evaluation.

2. The neuropsychological evaluation will identify any concerns that need further support. The evaluation will make recommendations for your next steps.

3. If recommendations include ABA therapy, we encourage you to reach out to us at (719) 685-6291.

4. We’ll have you complete an intake form, which includes your child’s history and your current concerns.

5. We’ll need the completed form, along with a copy of your child’s neuropsychological and their doctor referral. If your child has a 504 or Special Education documentation, please send that as well, along with any other information you feel relevant to the behaviors of concern.

6. Once we have all the documentation and your intake form, we’ll meet with you and your family for an intake interview. At that time, we’ll discuss your child’s history, behaviors you see at home, school and the community, and in what ways the behaviors interfere with your child’s personal and social growth.

7. Next, we’ll assess for skills such as daily living, socializing, and communication. Once the assessment is complete (this generally takes about 2 weeks), we’ll review the information with you and submit to your insurance provider (as applicable).
Your insurance provider will review the information (about 2 weeks).

8. Once the assessment is complete (this generally takes about 2 weeks), we’ll review the information with you and submit to your insurance provider (as applicable).

9. Your insurance provider will review the information (about 2 weeks).

10. Once approved, we can discuss service times, as recommended.

11. Updates will continue bi-annually.

12. You and your BCBA will continue ongoing group and/or individual parent support sessions each month.
